TTFW strives to highlight the role education and training has in securing the industry’s future.
At a time when tourism is a leading employer and leading contributor to the Welsh economy TTFW is committed to raising awareness of career opportunities, the sector’s role in promoting successful tourism and encouraging tourism training and education providers to develop courses which meet the industry’s needs. Tourism contributes almost £2.5billion to the Welsh economy every year and employs almost 10% of the entire national workforce. By highlighting the contribution education and training can make, TTFW is endeavouring to raise standards, improve quality and guarantee the industry’s future, in a vibrant and competitive Wales.
